The Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce, Colorado Mesa University, and the Grand Junction Economic Partnership continue to work alongside each other to help connect graduating students to career opportunities throughout the Grand Valley through the Grand Junction Career Passport Program.

This program launched in Fall 2021 and is more than just another job resource. it helps bridge the gap between local employers and CMU work-ready students. It was designed to help Mesa County businesses recruit local talent and work towards building a sustainable workforce that meets the needs of our community.

Oftentimes we hear of students and recent graduates from CMU leaving the area upon graduation for jobs found elsewhere or simply because they did not realize great opportunities are awaiting them in our community. The Grand Junction Career Passport Program is here to work towards a solidified connection between our local businesses and recent CMU graduates.

In efforts to spread the word and inform our business community, the GJ Chamber and the Career Passport Program are hosting an informational webinar on Wednesday, September 7th to explain the program and give employers the opportunity to ask questions.
